Synopsis

Breaking a long slumber, a mysterious rope leads a soul through a decaying world as he attempts to connect with another.

About the Director

Co-Director and Co-Producer, Maya Marzuki Peters | Maya is an award-winning Irish-Indonesian filmmaker known for her bold and playful style. She is skilled at creating visually striking and detailed environments and has a talent for eliciting authentic performances from actors, as well as crafting provocative set designs and utilizing dynamic camera techniques. She aims to tell stories that reflect the complexity of human experience, and is constantly experimenting with different forms of expression within her work. 


Co-Director and Co-Producer, Anahita von Andrian-Werburg | Boston-born, Anahita von Andrian-Werburg is a German-Iranian filmmaker based in New York City. Focused on influencing perceptions to bring awareness, she hopes to bridge the gap between reality and imagination with her fluid approach to storytelling. Her visually stunning multimedia work spans genres, from documentaries advocating for equality & climate justice to experimental dance narratives and creative short-form commercials.
